My Kind of People: Garbage

Eπτά ολόκληρα χρόνια ύστερα από το "Bleed Like Me" του 2005, οι Garbage επιστρέφουν με το δίσκο "Νot Your Kind of People" εν έτει 2012. Σαν να μην πέρασε μια μέρα.... Οι Garbage  μεσουράνησαν στα 90's με διαμάντια όπως τα ''Only Happy When It Rains'', '' Queer'', ''I Think I'm Paranoid'' και πολλά άλλα με εντόνως κολλητικά riffs, κυνικούς στίχους, παιχνίδι με την εικόνα, όλα τα στοιχεία για τα οποία τους λατρέψαμε.

Τώρα με το νέο τους πόνημα επιστρέφουν δριμύτεροι διεκδικώντας μια θέση στο σημερινό μουσικό γίγνεσθαι. Και δικαιωματικά την αξίζουν. Ο ήχος που τόσο αγαπήσαμε είναι εδώ, ολόφρεσκος όμως και με την frontwoman της μπάντας  Shirley Manson πιο ανανεωμένη από ποτέ. Η ωμή αλλά ταυτόχρονα τόσο γλυκιά και ζεστή χροιά της πάντα μου άρεσε και σε συνδυασμό με το παρουσιαστικό και το στυλ της που ποτέ δε δίσταζε να αλλάξει φτάνοντας πολλές φορές σε extreme πειραματισμούς, κατατάσσουν τη Shirley ως μια από τις σημαντικότερες rock frontwomen του σήμερα. Ποιος μπορεί να πιστέψει ότι αυτή η γυναίκα είναι 45(?!?!?!) χρονών;

To πρώτο single από το "Νot Your Kind of People" είναι το ''Blood for Puppies'' που έχω ήδη λατρέψει. Μαζί με ένα καταπληκτικής αισθητικής βίντεο που το συνοδεύει.... Δυναμώστε...
